I grew up on the Maine coastline, where the forest meets the sea, and I loved playing in the woods as a child looking for delicately textured mosses and lichens, so when I found this lovely woven gray fabric, I knew I wanted to center a piece around its texture. I based the design of this jacket on traditional Chinese hanfu robes, which are often worn layered, so I designed this jacket to be easy to layer and combine with other pieces. This Willow Jacket is different than the others made for this drop, since I decided to add a button closure.
