I grew up on the Maine coastline, where the forest meets the sea, and I loved playing in the woods as a child looking for delicately textured mosses and lichens, so when I found this lovely woven green and orange fabric, I knew I wanted to center a piece around its texture. I based the deep “v” neckline of this shirt, which is mirrored in the front and the back, on the elegant tail of the Chinese house swallow, symbols of good fortune. The cropped-design is perfect for warmer weather, and the shirt is fully reversible.
