Porcelain & Kintsugi Phoenix Teardrop Top - SOLD
Size S
$330 USD
My parents are potters, so I wanted to include pieces inspired by Chinese porcelain and Japanese kintsugi in my first collection. Although a piece of pottery might break, the shards can be repurposed to create something even more beautiful in its second life. I designed the Teardrop Top based on qipao collars, and really liked the image of a teardrop piercing through the chest to the spine, leading me to the mirrored teardrop cutout.
This piece is fully lined, hand-dyed, and hand-detailed with gutta.
