Kintsugi Fern River Pants

My parents are potters, so I wanted to include pieces inspired by Chinese porcelain and Japanese kintsugi in my first collection. Although a piece of pottery might break, the shards can be repurposed to create something even more beautiful.
I based the design of the River Pants on Chinese tai chi pants which are loose and easy to move in, with fabric that flows like a river.
This piece is unlined, but has hidden seams. I hand-dyed the ferns using cyanotype dye.
