Growing up, I was lucky to live in a place without light pollution, and I could always see a sky full of stars. This checkered knit reminded me a bit of the glimmering stars, so I centered this piece around inky darkness. I based the design of this jacket on traditional Chinese hanfu robes, which are often worn layered, so I designed this jacket to be easy to layer and combine with other pieces.
This piece is fully lined.
